Maintenance of solid wood flooring

Solid wood flooring is made directly from natural trees, which is natural and comfortable, warm and warm, but expensive and very precious. To minimize problems with solid wood flooring in daily use, daily maintenance is crucial.

1. Use a semi dry mop for daily cleaning. Semi dry mops contain a certain amount of moisture, which helps to clean the dust on the floor surface, but will not cause excessive moisture to stay on the floor surface or even penetrate the floor, causing the floor to deform. It is worth mentioning that if the indoor area is too dry, a mop can be damp, or a basin of water can be placed indoors to increase the indoor air humidity appropriately, which is also a way to maintain solid wood flooring.

2. After laying, wax should be applied in a timely manner. Waxing should not only be done after laying the floor, but also regularly during later use. Waxing every 3 months is very helpful for extending the lifespan of the floor.

3. Avoid wiping the floor with acidic or alkaline liquids. Acidic and alkaline liquids have a strong corrosive effect and can corrode the paint film on the surface of solid wood flooring. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid acidic and alkaline liquids coming into contact with the floor surface as much as possible.

4. Avoid sharp objects hitting the floor, placing excessively hot objects on the floor, or dragging furniture on the floor surface. These behaviors and actions can seriously damage the floor.
